The Qian Clan Ancestral Tomb at Xindu Bridge

In the 38th year of Qianlong (fifth cycle), sitting Ding and facing Gui; in the 44th year of Qianlong (sixth cycle) buried again in the same orientation.

Ding Peak, Kun Mountain; Geng-You mountains in the distance; Shen-Geng incoming dragon. Kan low fields; Chou-Gen-Yin outer hall. Large water runs from Jia-Mao-Yi and disappears at Chen-Xun. A small stream inserts at Wei; water from Bing-Wu-Ding-Si converges and exits at Chen-Xun. Ding-Bing blocked by houses; Wu water in the open. After burial, great prosperity of progeny and wealth.

San Fu comments: Incoming dragon and sitting mountain both accord, and facing and water mouth also accord; this fortune centers on Kun Mountain. In the fifth cycle the original chart remains unmoved; the small stream at Wei does not accord, and the Bing-Ding houses also obstruct. Only entering the sixth cycle, the subtlety is that Wu water is open and receives the prosperous qi, and the Ding sand matches the cycle—hence great prosperity of progeny and wealth.

In the 52nd year of Qianlong (1787, Ding-Wei, second period sixth cycle), another burial sat Xin facing Yi on mountain land. Kun-Dui-Qian high mountains, Kun qi; Geng-You-Xin stream water, Mao-Yi water pool; Gen mound close by, Yin high peak. After burial, great prosperity of progeny and wealth.

In the 12th year of Jiaqing (Ding-Mao, 1807, second period seventh cycle, 1795–1815), a woman was injured.

In the 14th year (Ji-Si, 1809, second period seventh cycle), death in childbirth.

In the 16th year (1811, Xin-Wei, second period seventh cycle), two young boys were injured.

From the 12th to the 16th year (1807–1811), they were embroiled in imperial and ministry lawsuits, though the family property was not ruined.
