But there is a problem that is not intuitively easy to understand: why is this transform feasible? For example, when a person sees a 3D object, what is seen from different angles is only a cross-section, and a single cross-section alone cannot contain all the information. Does changing the observation angle cause information loss? In fact, it definitely does. For example, when two objects at different temperatures are brought into contact, with no other interference, heat flows from the higher-temperature object to the lower-temperature object—this process is irreversible. If external force is used, such as forcibly transferring heat from a low-temperature object to a high-temperature object, this is possible, but a certain cost will inevitably be incurred—such as a refrigerator.
Brief Reflections on True Random Numbers
Today most people use the Mersenne Twister as a PRNG. This algorithm is based on a matrix linear recurrence over a finite binary field, and further employs tempered transformations of the state bits in a twisted generalized feedback shift register (TGFSR(R)). In essence it repeatedly applies recursive calculation to produce output, and within 623 dimensions can achieve exact equidistribution of 32-bit words. Yet for my purposes it seems quite flawed: its notion of randomness may not accord with the Way of Heaven and Earth. Ancient methods of calculation both held to standards and patterns and possessed supreme numbers — such numbers extract fixed principles from the chaos of Heaven and Earth, and only with variable factors joined in calculation can certainty be attained. Pseudo-random algorithms, however, seek mere disorder and lose constancy, and that constancy is itself inherent between Heaven and Earth.

Often when encountering certain phenomena, someone will say with a skeptical tone: “Is this just psychological?” Or they will dismissively attack certain treatments: “This is merely the placebo effect.” This kind of person is very superficial—yet they make up no small share of the population, so a word must be said. Whether psychological effect or placebo effect, they have an irreplaceable role; one must not belittle a phenomenon merely because it is psychological. In many situations they work better than drugs even for common illnesses. Psychological effects can produce both positive and negative results.
