For the Five Talisman Deduction, using the Five Talisman, Heavenly Ministry, Earthly Prison, Wind Lord, Thunder Duke, Rain Master, Wind and Cloud, Tang Talisman, National Seal, Heavenly Pivot, Earthly Axis, and Six Thieves, one checks the position of the Five Talisman starting from the Lu position of the day's Heavenly Stem. It proceeds in order through the Heavenly Ministry and Earthly Prison across the twelve palaces. Observing the direction where the Wind Lord arrives indicates wind; observing the direction where the Rain Master arrives indicates rain.
The Lu position is the Lin Guan (Official) position. From this, it can be deduced that for Yang days, the correspondence between the Five Talisman positions and the Twelve Stages of Life is as follows:

This method can be used for predicting weather.
