道德经注解(三十一):知人者智,自知者明
Those who know others are wise, and those who know themselves are clear. The winner is strong and the winner is strong. The contented are rich. The enforcer is ambitious.Lose what you have for a long time. The dead live without dying.
Those who know others are wise, those who know themselves are clear, those who can surpass others are powerful, and those who can constantly surpass themselves are strong. Those who can satisfy are rich, and those who can insist on acting are ambitious, while those who will never lose their position are long-term, and those who are constant and do not die are long-lived.
* * [Note] This paragraph is profound and involves the truth of practice. You must always be able to not only know it, but also know it, be able to surpass others, and also be able to surpass yourself.Being able to persevere in striving toward a goal and not deviate from the direction in the process of striving, in this way, it is possible to persevere for a long time.In the process of practice, although the extraordinary is known, it is also necessary to be able to know one's own abilities, often keep in mind, and do not get lost, that is, do not get lost for a long time, do not change for a long time, do not change for a long time. The growth and collection of all things is nothing more than developing and changing, so there are twelve ancient states, which only seek eternal life, only long and constant. * *
