Maoshan Harmony Incantation of the Phoenix Blossom Spirit of Harmony

　　This is a Maoshan yin method, mainly used for soul-binding entanglement. However, where fate-pattern conflicts are great, using it is ineffective; in severe cases it even backfires, completely severing the affinity.

　　Simplified version, using a straw figure:

　　Respectfully invite the Phoenix Blossom Spirit to descend and arrive. Descend before the altar and quickly support the body. Day-supporting body soul, night-supporting body soul. Day and night not parting. Parting leaves the heart in chaotic confusion. Raise up the woman named ○○○, born ○○○, who day and night thinks of the man's body, named ○○○, born ○○○. Two people of one heart, one mind, one bed and pillow. By day the soul follows, by night the spirit sleeps together. I obey Ancestor Lü in summoning the Phoenix Blossom Spirit. Press the male spirit to join with the female spirit. Press the male spirit-essence to join with the female spirit-essence. The two people's soul and essence have union. Swiftly urge the fire, swiftly by decree. I obey the Phoenix Blossom Spirit's decree of union. By the statutes of Immortal Master Lü, by decree. Divine soldiers, swift as fire, as the statutes require.

　　Advanced version, using a straw figure and silkworm-flower grass (hehuan grass):

　　Respectfully invite the Phoenix Blossom Spirit, then invite the Peach Blossom person; swiftly descend before the altar, descend to the altar and come support the body. Raise up the woman named ○○○, born ○○○; raise up the man named ○○○, born ○○○. The man transforms into green grass; the woman transforms into a hungry deer spirit. Green grass entices the deer's joyful heart; the divine deer eats the green grass. The green-grass flower serves as the point of the numinous talisman; the deer eats the grass and swallows it into its belly. The three souls and seven essences come entwining day and night; entwining soul and essence, the marriage bond is wedded. However hard the woman's heart as iron, once she eats the green grass her heart is as cotton. Heaven and Earth urge, sun and moon urge; urging man and woman to form the marriage bond. Wedded as husband and wife, not parting soul, not parting body. By the ancestors in coming to entwine. Urging the Phoenix Blossom Spirit, press the male spirit, press the female spirit. Marriage forever joined, following and never parting. The numinous talisman arrives swiftly to be carried out; I obey the Maoshan statutes by decree. Divine soldiers, swift as fire, as the statutes require.
