Circulate one's own golden light to illuminate the golden chamber, then clench the teeth tight, forcing the Qi of the whole body to fill it. Once the life force moves, open the eyes and look, the golden light is vast and clear, the gaze falls upon the paper, with the Qi a single stroke is made, it is like the Taiji weighing a thousand pounds, with one glance of the eyes, my envoy is established. I respectfully report that a certain person from a certain prefecture, county, and township submitted a petition at the altar, stating that since a certain month in this region, there has been a severe drought, with no rain for months. The people are suffering, and the autumn harvest is in peril. Thus, they come to pray to Heaven, seeking rain to save them from the drought. I, your young disciple, unable to refuse their plea, dare to offer my humble words. On a certain day, at a certain place, we shall borrow land to establish an altar, follow the master's instructions to issue talismans and petitions, and dispatch commands to the Thunder Ministry, to bring down sweet rain universally, relieve the drought, and ensure a bountiful harvest. I deeply reflect that I have received the grace to inherit this lineage, but my virtue is shallow and my talents meager. I rely entirely on your support to hopefully achieve a resonance. Not daring to act on my own, I have purified my body and mind to cultivate this report. Talisman Endorsement for Holding the Memorial Profound Secrets of the Masters In the north there is thunder in the center of heaven and earth, in the south there is thunder in the home of heaven and earth. The four directions' four characters launch the thunder, the four directions have thunder hidden in the horse's home. The wondrous use is only obtained from the four directions, Yin and yang clash to rumble the thunder chariot. This is the true wondrous formula of the immortals, kept secret and not to be spoken to others. If you find a sincere person, you may speak of it; passing it on to them can connect to the profound. Thunder arises within the grasp of the hand, the profound of the profound, the secret comes first, this is the creation proclaimed by the golden mouth. To use it, one must start from the direction of Sha, moving and executing it like snapping fingers. The five spirits must be governed by the Envoy, Commanders Deng and Xin are the venerables of the Thunder Ministry. One body and three forms turn the authority of transformation, their true names and ancestral taboos are not to be passed down in the world. Reverse the Southern Dipper to return to the North Pole, with swift hands the thunder produces lightning. In the middle of the Eight Trigrams are the Five Elements, the ability to strike with flying lightning and fire. Wherever the stars arrive, ten thousand transformations are born, the thunder officials must strive for balance. Hide it in the heart and lungs to save from drought and famine. Passed down orally, it must reach the right person, so they can reach the other shore of immortality. Four Characters Huang, Ze, Mouth, Xi, Word, Moon. Ancestral Taboo True Name Jue. Water. Jue. Fire. All secretly passed down. Eight Trigrams Heaven, Earth, Wind, Thunder, Water, Fire, Mountain, Lake. Five Elements Essence in the North, Spirit in the South, Soul in the East, Corporeal Soul in the West, Will in the Center. The Profound Dao As for thunder, it gathers the five qi and returns to one; from one it generates three and becomes five, and from five it becomes twenty-five; all are transformations of the single qi. What does Heaven say? The four seasons proceed, and all things are born. Without thunder, how could things sprout and grow? Thus, within movement and stillness lies the wondrous mechanism of the Unmoved. Therefore, "profoundly silent yet with the sound of thunder" refers to this. From the eighth month, it withdraws its sound and hides beneath the Kun earth; from You to Hai, it is nourished by the three yin. From Zi to Yin, it is nourished by the three yang. From Mao, passing through six positions to Shen, it becomes Kun, which is the palace of the Envoy. Kun is the extreme of the six yin; in one turn, it becomes Fu, the beginning of the six yang. The Envoy resides at the pivot of life and death, the axis of yin and yang; therefore, thunder must rely on it to turn, open, and close. The three commanders unite as one, the five thunders are unified as five, merging into a single qi that resides at the extreme of the six yin and the beginning of the six yang. The Southern Dipper's Fire Palace is the mansion of the sudden fire; between the Silver River, there is a star named the Lightning Star, the front star of the Dipper, where the Envoy resides. Hence it is named Six-One. In spring Xu, summer Chou, autumn Chen, winter Wei; the three combinations of Hai, Mao, and Wei place the direction of Sha in Shen, sharing the same position as Kun; this is where killing reaches its extreme and life begins. Thus it is named Heavenly Joy. The Big Dipper is the Envoy of the Jade Pivot Thunder Ministry, and that which is born of the Lianzhen qi is also in the Shen palace. Internally it is Lianzhen, externally it is Pojun. The twelve gates of the Thunder City all follow the direction pointed by the Heavenly Dipper. The four seasons and all transformations rely on the Heavenly Dipper to operate. Therefore, the degree of the Heavenly Dipper starts in Zi in the first month, and is always two positions ahead of Heavenly Joy; how can thunder move recklessly? Thus, one must grasp this mechanism before one can speak of the Thunder Method.This method is a secret held by Shichen, originally from the ancient Jade Pivot Three Commanders, and was strictly forbidden in the inner treasury during the Xuanhe era, not allowed to be transmitted recklessly. Only the ancestral master Shangguan passed it down in his family, obtaining this to hand it over to the late master Tiebi Zou Gong and Yuchan Bai Jun, and then told them: Thunder has six mansions, which are not known to ordinary people. Because its true talismans, true incantations, true qi, true gang, true formulas, and true mechanisms are not like modern people drawing talismans, chanting incantations, distributing qi, stepping the gang, and pinching formulas mechanically. The Primordial One Qi divided into true beings. The Thunder Patriarch's direct 25th generation Thunder Flying Swift Reporting Messenger Zhang, is the Thunder Voice Universal Transformation Heavenly Venerable. There is a handwritten record by Shichen, which can be verified in the original transmission. One must understand the Primordial One Qi, and next know the wonder of transmitting sound. Also knowing that the Messenger is the Thunder Patriarch, and the Thunder Patriarch is Shenxiao, then how could one not encompass all thunder and step alone? However, qi is the ancestor that generates the One, which is me. The six matters are secrets of Heaven. Heaven has six yin and six yang, Heavenly Joy and Heavenly Gang, which are the origins of generation and execution. The end and beginning are also Heaven, and also me. Heaven and man unite in action, establishing the foundation for all transformations. This is the Dao, and also the method. Without supreme wisdom and predestined affinity, how could one speak of this? There is a secret transmission, not recorded on paper and pen. To know but not practice is the same as not knowing. I write this to transmit along with the method. Those who obtain this, awaken to its mechanism. The ancestral transmission swears not to show it to the unworthy, considering it a secret transmission. If shown to others, then they are taught this method. You should treasure it, treasure it. If violated, the wind blade will torture your body, which is not to be taken lightly. The secret of the One Qi does not rely on visualization to gather qi, distributing gang and pinching formulas to be effective. It only takes the six words "attain the ultimate void, maintain steadfast stillness" as the main principle, nourishing the supreme harmony, making one's own original qi pure and complete, naturally qi is strong and spirit is divine, using this to resonate with that, like a valley echoing a sound. It is also what the Book of Changes calls "still and unmoving, resonating and thereby connecting." When drawing talismans, the Messenger's talisman posture must be majestic, spirit and essence united, qi and movement vivid, the shape resembling a bat, wings split in an eight-character shape, feet stepping on the Dipper and Gang, acting as a thunder chariot. The brushstroke must be vigorous, strictly avoiding weakness. For when the brushstroke is weak, the magical power is weak; when the brushstroke is vigorous, the magical power is vigorous. Swift as a flying falcon, completed in a single stroke. Morning and evening like this, wielding the brush and licking the ink, sketching the shapes, opening the eyes as if seeing them, silently communing with the spirit, naturally entering the wondrous. Abundant as if present, immeasurable. The ancients painted a dragon and dotted its eyes, and wind and rain flew away. Painted water that connected to the gods, hearing the sound of water at night. Painted a Buddha and saw brilliant light filling the temple. This is truly because the mind is undivided and condensed in the spirit; whatever the brush and ink reside in can transform. How could it be just incantations and formulas? Therefore, when this old man draws talismans, regardless of morning or night, drunk or sober, I do not chant incantations or manipulate qi. I simply sweep the brush to complete it, and its use is never ineffective, commanding wind and thunder, slaying demons and monsters, the Dao is preserved upon sight. I also do not know whether the Messenger is me, or I am the Messenger. Practicing this throughout my life is merely the six words "attain the ultimate void, maintain steadfast stillness." When have I ever relied on anything else? Drawing a talisman requires only one stroke, no refilling strokes allowed. Regardless of whether it is thick or thin, dry or withered, it must be animated by spirit, with a majestic aura, without a single distracting thought, without a moment's interruption. Heart and spirit united, qi and brush meeting. In a trance, it is as if seeing the commander and generals rushing through clouds and mist, commanding the thunder. In an instant, golden light shines brilliantly, purple qi flourishes, wondrous applications crisscross, and wind and rain obey orders. Absolutely do not learn the worldly methods of distributing talismans, with scattered shapes, gathered shapes, one stroke for one incantation, one incantation for one qi, one qi for one formula, one formula for one visualization. If thoughts and feelings are interrupted, and intention and qi fall into emptiness, even if a talisman can be formed, starting diligent but ending slack, when applied in practice, not one in ten thousand will be effective. This is truly because they do not know the wonder of spiritual resonance; incantations, qi, gang, and formulas are but mere dust and chaff. How could the Dao be in this? How could the method be in this? The Golden Book Secret is the secret granted by the Mother of Lightning to the Fire Master. The Supreme Dao is profoundly mysterious, operating in the deep abyss; its changes and transformations are truly hard to understand. Casually laughing into the west wind, it frightens the dark demons until their courage breaks and they tremble. Call it a method, it has no human sentiment. Call it innate, it cannot be drawn. If one knows a grain within this, driving thunder and commanding lightning is all from the heart. One single character governs all spirits; why bother searching endlessly on paper? Once you understand, quickly seal your lips, lest the red fire burn your body. When your deeds of saving the world are complete, return to the Thunder Mansion, and you should seek the Lightning Mother's elegant literary brilliance. Preface to the Fire Thunder In the Shenxiao Jade Pivot method, there is the Flying Swift Fire Thunder Messenger, originally transformed from the Primordial Ancestral Qi into a true form. The Primordial is the Taiji. Taiji generates two from one, generates three from two, generates five from three, generates seven from five, and accumulates seven to become nine. These are the numbers of odd yang, with infinite transformations. Fire Thunder takes form from the omens of One Qi, forcibly named Flying Swift Zhang Jue, called the Mysterious Qi, which is the revered god of Dongshen. From one comes two, two qi takes form, forcibly named Commander Xin <Huo Li>, called the Prime Qi, which is the revered god of Dongxuan. From two comes three, three qi takes form, forcibly named Huo Huo Deng Xie, called the Initial Qi, which is the revered god of Dongzhen. The three gods are originally one god, one body with three forms. Initially without distinction, they transform according to circumstances. Also, in the Jade Pivot there are five messengers: Yuan Bo, Yuan Jun, Yuan Qing, Yuan Tong, and Yuan Shu, why? Three qi generates five qi, five qi generates all things, all things return to Taiji, circulating endlessly. Fire Thunder is the pivot of Heaven and Earth, the master of Yin and Yang. In Heaven, it is the Shenxiao Jade Emperor; in the stars, it is the Sun; in spirits, it is Fire Thunder; in the Five Elements, it is Fire; and it resides in the thunder. When seeking an audience with the Emperor, it transmits sounds and reports matters; when punishing evil, it does not deceive the judge; when commanding thunder, it calls for and proclaims decrees; when acting at convenience, it generates, executes, captures, and releases, all through this god. If those in the world who practice the method can understand the wonder of these Fire Thunder transformations, know the beginning of the Primordial Ancestral Kalpa, awaken to the mechanism of Yin and Yang's movement and stillness, and understand the principle of reversing body and application, then talismans, incantations, gang, formulas, qi, commands, orifices, and signals will all be clear without doubt, and only then can one speak of Thunder Methods. When facing matters, one has a handle on it, like an arrow that never misses its target, hitting whatever it shoots. If one does not meet a clear master, nor encounters the true method, seeking the Dao with an outward nature, practicing the method with a non-sincere heart, unable to unite spirit with spirit, qi with qi, a minister residing in a sovereign's position, a guest holding the host's power, mistaking a thief for a son, abandoning the father and running away—alas, how is this different from expecting a sparrow to give birth to a phoenix, or a fox and rabbit to produce a horse? How could this be? All orthodox disciples of my sect, to whom I transmit all Fire Thunder methods, must constantly reflect on this throughout the twelve hours of the day: the physical body is entirely Yin, not knowing where the Yang essence lies. Think again and again: since the roots and dust are false, what is true? Suddenly realizing where this falls, it turns out that the ten thousand sages and thousand truths of the Three Realms and Ten Directions all reside on the tip of a single hair. Generation, execution, capture, and release, large and small, internal and external, all return to my grasp. Like a magnet attracting iron, like a mother calling her child, responding with a snap of the fingers, naturally harmonizing, without needing to seek outward at first. Now, fearing that future learners will have no evidence or insight, I briefly recount this saying; savor it well. The poem says: To record everything would make the text voluminous; breaking through, there is no duality. Obtain it from three, two, one; do not obtain one, two, three. Preface by Wang Wenqing, Taisu Official and Shichen of the Ning Shen Hall in the Song Dynasty. The Dao Method is Profound and Subtle Rest the mind and settle thoughts, sit with loose clothing; a single thought of emptiness generates nature. Blend with the hollow qi of Shenxiao, rising and descending through the three fields. Mouth, eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, Though they exist, treat them as if not, forgetting worldly affairs. One true spiritual nature is clear and bright, neither in the middle nor inside or outside. In Yang hours, qi passes the three gates; in Yin hours, forget and let the mind be idle. Thus morning and evening, naturally mating to form the Great Return. When the six roots are still and all thoughts cease, the Yang spirit appears, shining brightly. Calling thunder and summoning rain occurs in an instant, And further accumulate Yin virtue in the human world. Water rises, fire descends, thunder is already crossed; the central palace returns to Kan, and Kan returns to the center. This principle within is truly profound and wondrous; you must believe that my body is the same as Heaven and Earth. On Thunder Methods Acting for the temple, slaying evil and removing plagues and poisons; Yin condenses and exposes, qi hides Yang. Raising the eyes at a single hair is like an illusion; spirit and qi are peaceful, and the universe is healthy. Shichen said: The Dao is the body of the method, and the method is the application of the Dao. This is what is called the method within the Dao, and the Dao within the method. It is not just the ancestor of being and non-being deceiving the newly initiated; if there are visualizations of baseless things or far-fetched theories of physical forms, they are what I detest most in my life. For I wish to step firmly on solid ground, not doing reckless and confusing things. If one can talk about it but not understand it, or stumble upon a response for a moment, they truly have learned nothing. Those like this should be especially careful, lest they imitate merchants buying forked roads. Therefore, Shichen left a warning: If you learn the method incorrectly, it will damage your spirit and essence, bring disaster to your nine ancestors, and later destroy your own body. This is exactly what it means.The Patriarch Shichen met the Fire Master True Lord Wang, who imparted to him the secret decrees of the Thunder Ministry. After his ascension, these have been passed down to the present day. But how is it that in the past fifty or sixty years, those of different sects but sharing the same name have emerged in confusion, causing those who are genuinely interested to be unable to find the door to enter? The truth is that the Dharma relies on physical vessels to be efficacious; this is myself, this is the spirit. The transformations of the universe and my own body are one. When it moves, all move together; when it acts, all act together. Therefore, it is said: "Heaven and Earth flow together; spirits and humans are one body." Today, people merely busy themselves with talismans, incantations, stepping patterns, and hand seals on paper, completely failing to understand why. The principle of the Original Spirit has never been left unexplained to people from ancient times to the present. Yet, why do those who abandon the root and pursue the branches mistake the false for the true? Today they say a certain incantation is wrong, or a certain talisman is mistaken; tomorrow they say a certain step is missing, or a certain seal is incorrect. Little do they know that the Limitless gives birth to the Taiji, Taiji divides into Yin and Yang, Yin and Yang divide into the Five Elements, and the Five Elements form all things. It all stems from a single principle: gathered, it does not fill a single grasp; dispersed, it fills the entire universe. If one can grasp the pivotal mechanism and manipulate the transformations, then control lies within me. In the past, someone asked the former master: "Regarding the matter of summoning thunder and making rain, does it rely on memorial petitions, on the application of internal energy, or on talismans and incantations?" The master replied: "Yin and Yang are separated, hence there are droughts and heavy rains; all are dictated by the Imperial Decree and belong to the Thunder Ministry. Without memorial petitions, there is no way to request the decree; without talismans and incantations, how could it be proclaimed and executed? It is like a firecracker: if it does not catch fire, how can the sound be produced? If one does not understand the transformations and does not investigate the Thunder Ministry, of what use are the physical vessels?" I heard this from my former master, and his explanation was very clear. However, modern scholars hold different views and are stubbornly divided; it is almost impossible to discuss this with them. By chance, during my leisure time, I have written down what I have heard to seek verification from wise and knowledgeable individuals everywhere. Perhaps the profound legacies left by Shichen, which one cannot transmit even after deep self-reflection, can thus be heard by those who have not heard them—how could this be considered a small contribution? Jade Emperor Heart Seal The Primordial One Qi, the Non-Acting Dao Patriarch, perfected and unobstructed through vast kalpas. The Thunder Emperor, Lord of Non-Action, is as minute as a jade infant, without clothes or tassels, sitting amidst a hundred precious lights, as fine as dust, radiating brilliantly, illuminating all directions without bounds. In the six directions and eight extremes, there is no inside or outside, up or down; there is only golden light intersecting, like a precious silken net. Praying for rain and exorcising evil are all this very Dao. First, withdraw the gaze and turn the hearing inward, seal the breath and regulate respiration. Do not deceive your own heart, and all spirits will gather; do not disturb your essence, and the whole body will become clear and refreshed. Inner thoughts do not go out, outer thoughts do not enter. Naturally, the three flowers gather at the crown, the five qi return to their roots, purple is embraced and yellow is returned, and white light is born in the empty room. Entering, it is the Dao; exiting, it is the Dharma. Dao and Dharma originally do not exist; only from empty spirit do they begin to be. Heaven, Earth, wind, thunder, water, fire, mountain, and marsh—the eight trigrams resonate with each other; the two forces form their essence. Dragons, gods, and ghosts are all in my grasp. Releasing and gathering, contracting and pinching, all are proper conduct. It cannot be sought with a deliberate mind, nor can it be done with an absent mind. Wherever a single thought reaches, all spirits obey and act. One Qi Thunder Mechanism During daily practice, sit in the lotus position, let go of all worldly entanglements, concentrate the spirit and quiet the mind, regulate the breath continuously, and focus the mind entirely on the Mysterious Gate. When the right moment arrives, you will naturally feel the heavenly qi descending and the earthly qi ascending. From the water source, two streams of azure and white qi rise to the Crimson Palace and intertwine with the red qi. In a short while, the spirit is refreshed and intent is concentrated; this is the image of the golden essence and the wood fluid intersecting, naturally producing a tight, compressed sound. You must maintain righteous thoughts and avoid mixed thoughts, simply aligning with intent. Suddenly, a dot the size of a millet pearl drops into the Mysterious Gate, shaped like a golden pill, its golden light dazzling. Then circulate the ancestral qi, swirling and drawing it out, gradually filling the space, transforming into five colors, and rushing straight up to the heart. Joyfully, the heart's fire and the kidney's water rise and fall, mirroring the time when Heaven and Earth, the dark and the yellow, interact. The two qi mix, and a clap of thunder shakes violently. The five-colored clouds of light, following the ancestral qi, transform into sky-covering black clouds, filling the six directions, with lightning flashing. At this moment, all anxieties are silenced; the Primordial Beginning is me, and I am the Primordial Beginning. The golden light is brilliant, flashing through the ten directions of Heaven and Earth, intertwining with bursts of fire. Once this is clear, gather the emitted golden light and station it in the Central Palace. After this closed circulation is complete, you must still eliminate worries and forget emotions, constantly observing and illuminating, so that not a single thought arises in the heart. All spirits will naturally focus on the body, and throughout the twelve hours of the day, it will become even more proficient. By secretly circulating like this for a long time, essence and spirit will merge, like a shadow following the body, and the Thunder Generals and Thunder Soldiers will be abundantly present around you. As days pass and months go by, with deepening skill and arriving power, at that time it will conform to nature, and you will no longer need to labor in circulating thoughts. This is because this method is for initial true practitioners whose karmic connection is shallow; they must rely on spirit and essence to evoke a response. Therefore, a former virtuous master said: "If you think of it and cannot attain it, think of it again, and the ghosts and spirits will connect you to it." It is not the power of ghosts and spirits, but the ultimate extremity of one's own spirit and essence. If you can practice accordingly, it will not merely be that the thunder spirits obey the command; you will inevitably have red-haired, giant-winged beings leading the way and following behind, roaring with thunder amidst laughter and conversation, and gathering wind and clouds in the space of a single breath. At this time and in this state, you must precisely forget the qi of your former habits, shattering them one by one. You must make it so the thunder spirits cannot find where you are; only then are you the one who commands the thunder. If you still crouch in the old ruts, you will inevitably be transformed by vulgar qi, stagnating on one side, empty and mysteriously distant. This particular step belongs to a different root altogether, so let us set it aside for now. If you ask about healing illness and driving away evil, we must discuss the subtle workings of true qi. To summon heavenly thunder and earthly generals, you must understand the kung fu of a single word. Close your eyes to refine the spirit; you must circulate the primal qi of the Mysterious Gate. Ascend the altar to call for rain; you must rely on the pivotal mechanism of the Great Transformation. Rumbling thunder moves, and everywhere becomes spring. The Milky Way suddenly pours down, and the great earth is instantly moistened from its dryness. The shadows of grass and trees before the courtyard, the bamboo roots and whips at the foot of the mountain—gather them when you have leisure, use them when in urgent need. Things like earth, wood, tiles, and stones can all be used to exorcise evil; even straw raincoats and mud pills can house qi. The subtlety of the Dao lies within me; what is there that cannot be endured? When ghosts and spirits hear the name, they will naturally retreat. The mysterious precepts have prohibitions, with secrecy as the priority. The thunder commands are awe-inspiring; do not fall behind. Although the words are coarse and vulgar, the meaning penetrates the profound and subtle. Take it up directly, and you will have a share in the upward path. Mantras of the Masters Concentrate the spirit, sit upright, and contemplate the Golden Gate; a single point of spiritual light connects above and below. To recognize the Original Spirit residing on the left and right, rely entirely on a single point of breathing. A clap of thunder rings out south and north of the mountain, shaking the universe and opening the bellows. The old dragon sleeping at the bottom of the pool grows restless, and in an instant flies up to the Ninth Heaven. Sixteen characters circulate the thunder; do not raise your voice, secretly make the sound. Quickly act as the master and strike the Xun door; wind, thunder, clouds, and rain are born at once. Lord and minister gather in audience at the Jade Capital; mother and child rejoice and form the jade infant. Even if a black wind churns the great sea, the ship sails on, steered by the helmsman. A single thought is clear, without beginning or end; this is the profound principle of the Thunder Ministry. If you can practice this kung fu for a long time, the sages of the Three Realms will bow in unison. Originating from Shichen who passed down the oral secrets, for over two hundred years they remained un-revealed. Overturning the ten thousand layers of clouds of the Northern Sea, rolling up the thousand-foot snow of the Yellow River. To know how breathing circulates the thunder, one stroke makes it clear without any deficiency. Without the master's decree it is suddenly hard to understand; without a clear master, do not force an explanation. Belly like a turtle, back hunched, eyes gazing at the navel, just like an infant in the womb. Leap straight up to the azure sky; if a single thought goes astray, do not act. Tread and overturn the Dipper's handle, Heaven and Earth grow dark; roll back the Yellow River, its snow-waves flying. If you can grasp this pivotal mechanism, nature's transformations will naturally align with heavenly timing. Both hands grip firmly, eyes gaze at the cauldron; close the eyes and preserve the spirit, the heart naturally settles. Lock the Dui and join the Li, qi returns to the origin; the nose draws in azure qi, lifting the Golden Well. The dual gates of the spine seem to shake; in an instant, it rushes straight up to the Kunlun peak. Breaking open the golden lock, the fire dragon flies; within, the True Man faces the Imperial Realm. The Dharma lies in the profound and wondrous place of the Primordial; there are no words to explain it. Its essence lies in maintaining the central and upright; the spiritual terrace is crystal clear. The Great One Spirit resides in the Profound Valley Mansion, and the primordial qi enters the Mysterious Gate acupoint. Silent and unmoving, it responds and connects. Relying on fierce intensity, command the wind and thunder, pray for rain and snow, command ghosts and spirits, and drive away evil monsters. This alone is neither talisman, nor incantation, nor stepping pattern or hand seal. Embody the spirit's wondrous use directly; when merit is fulfilled and conduct is complete, you will join the ranks of immortals. Look at the Great Void, faintly visible, riding auspicious clouds, holding court at the Golden Gate. The Dao lies in the empty and formless aperture; the spirit resides within the chaos. When expressed, it can hit the right measure; in laughter and conversation, command the thunder and wind. Recognize existence within non-existence; joyfully guard it inwardly always. When not a single thought has yet arisen, all spirits bow their heads. The two eyes face the two kidneys; recognize the central pivot. With a clap of thunder, it suddenly rises to the Mud Pill. Thunder Ministry Essence and Function The Master said: To command the Thunder Ministry, one must first understand its essence and function. Essence of the Dao　 One, two, three, four, five; the Dao is the ancestor of all dharmas. Before all things were born, the One Qi was first the master. The Yellow River connects to the Heavenly River. Kunlun is the realm of Taiji. See through the Dao of the Three Purities; breathing becomes thunder and rain. Function of the Dharma　 The spring gushes forth from the Jade Dragon Palace; fire blazes in the Red Phoenix Tower. Send me up to Kunlun; the mid-sky is clear and bright. Push the carriage of A Xiang; faintly, the sound of thunder arises. If the heart can respond to it, what need is there to write talismans and seals? Secret Words of Returning to One The Master said: Since you understand the essence and function of the Thunder Ministry, you should grasp the principle of all dharmas returning to One. But where is this One right now? The Mysterious Master said: It is thus spiritual, thus divine; not from myself, not from you, not from spirits, not from ghosts. Wherever a single thought reaches, it is entirely natural; take it up directly. Just this is the secret word: A substance an inch across encompasses the Three Powers. Behind the navel and in front of the kidneys, seemingly in the middle, it is called the Mysterious Gate; this is its location. If this is not clearly pointed out today, future learners will inevitably make wild guesses, either going too far or not far enough. The True Man of Purple Yang said: "Even if your intelligence surpasses that of Yan and Min, without meeting a clear master, do not force a guess. Even with alchemical scriptures but no oral secrets, how will you form the spiritual embryo?" The Patriarch said: "Before a thought arises, even ghosts and spirits do not know. If it does not come from me, then from whom? Only by realizing 'no-self' can one recognize the 'true self', and only then can one summon the Thunder Ministry, control the transformations, hold the universe in one's hand, and give birth to all things from the body. Amidst the silent and unmoving, there is the principle of responding and connecting." The mechanism of ascending and descending lies entirely in this formula. Exhaling, the qi descends; inhaling, it ascends. One exhale, one inhale; it naturally ascends and descends. The internal alchemy kung fu lies entirely in this formula. One qi flows and circulates, vast and boundless. The Single Aperture of the Mysterious Gate ○ Its greatness has no outside; its smallness has no inside. Though spoken of as two, the wonder lies in oral transmission. The Two Symbols of Yin and Yang Its nature belongs to Li, the Yin within the Qian.命属坎，坤中阳。 神是火，火属心，心为汞。 气是药，药属身，身为　。 五行 精北，神南，魂东，魄西，意中。 西南以后乃产药之地。 身属阴，心属阳，身心相合为之符。 铅，身。汞，心。土，胎。金公，身。姹女，心。黄婆，胎。丁公，心火。 婴儿 专气致柔能如婴儿，能聚精气化为一神，号曰阳神。 刀圭 守一抱元，身心混合，谓之刀圭。 子母 始者一念而有身，故以一念为母，以身为子。今者借此身而炼一念，故以身为母，一念为子。 水中金，心中性，气中神，神中气。 一念不动，五脏结其英华。一气周流，三田注其津液。 万法归一 一，鍊成一气，专气致柔，守聚成丹。三世之心，五般之物，结成一灵，谓之阳神。故曰：万法归一也。 水，精，肾，知。 火，神，心，礼。 木，魂，肝，仁。 金，魄，肺，义。 土，意，脾，信。 龙虎 身虎，气元。敛月来魄充虎饥，虎来食噉生髓峙。暖气。 心龙，神元。凝心息念任龙蟠，神元暗室珠光寒。炼神。 和合四象 色眼，青龙。语口，朱雀。息鼻，白虎。声耳。玄武。 此谓之和合四象，教人眼不观邪色，口常语正道，鼻息调元气，耳不听恶声也。 琼山紫清真人答隐芝书 近者吾友隐芝君来问，余曰：前所授之事，盖是辩明先天后天二气之妙，玄关一窍之所。玄关即土釜也，黄房也。呼之根，吸之蔕，即命蔕也。正玄牝也。一寸八 分，乃妇人结胎之地。脐之后，肾之前，小肠之左，大肠之右，正在中间，空闲一穴。阳舒阴惨，本无正形，意到即开，开阖有时。故曰天地之根，结丹之处。先天 乃父母未生时，与天地同分此气，随身受用，同死同生也。其关在於鼻，鼻属肺，肺为金。缘先天之气出入乎鼻，聚则成水，散则成气。到其所在，乃是西南之乡。 西南为坤，坤属土。尾闾之前，膀胱之后，小肠之下，归虚之上，此乃天地逐日所到之真气，生天道之本根。即尾闾骨起处是也。此产铅之地。夫用之之法，先铅后 汞，惟在土釜和融而成大丹。盖意到则为黄婆，能作媒娉。古法取铅一百九十二度为半斤，汞亦如之。潭底日红阴怪灭。乃是铅，为阳气。山头月白药苗新。乃是 汞，为阴精。潭乃曲江，在小肠之左右。吴公云：曲江上，有个鸟飞是也。山为鼻，在相书为岳者也。若夫乾象交感之宫，乃是大肠左右之间。玄关者，土釜也。医 书中乾大肠也。以上皆采药匹配交姤之道。於中则有己形，三寸长，其色如玉，在土釜铅汞之中，从此行住坐卧，饮食起居，念兹在兹，乃是传送精神，敛藏魂魄， 无中生有，无质生质，故能结药生丹。即饮刀圭，千奇万妙，大要在黄婆有以运用之也。夫生死何事，非黄婆致之哉。故采铅取汞，呼召婴儿之时，其要虽在黄婆， 遣送亦须功曹使者，以为黄婆之用也。心为功曹，眼为使者。黄婆遣功曹使者以运之，於内境有相，大药克成矣。 若夫前所谓眉间为六合明堂，又为日月合璧，又为大囦一窍，此正平叔老师所谓何其肤浅也。如此但欲求合丹书，抑不思天地之道，其果若是乎。金丹之道，得火候 则炼成阳仙，为圣胎也。非火候则疰成阴尸，为痨瘵也。其如火候真机，脱胎妙道，天实靳之。今所笔述者，乃药材玄关二事也。果皆圣人之传。要日夜与婴儿从 事，不可须臾离也。采铅龟法龟息，故能固形，非闭息也。采汞乃鹿法也，鹿运尾闾，故能大热，非吸缩也。圣人夺得造化之妙，取此以明之，则蜾赢可以祝螟蛉之 子，蜣蜋可以抱蝉蜩之胎。皆心意所之，精神所聚。故释氏亦曰：若能制心一处，何事不办，此之谓也。犀因翫月纹生角，象为闻雷花入牙，亦磁石吸铁之理。是故 蚌腹生珠，石中蕴玉者也。 火候脱胎二事，事关天机，非年月日时之可印证，精神魂魄之可以契合者也。不可以文字而传。在口口心授之妙，耳提面命之真，今皆明说丹基之要，药道之妙，胎 婴之灵，而但不说火候者，虑天谴也。才一采铅，则百窍俱开。采汞，则思虑俱灭。呼召婴儿，才一二日后，则其中转动，丹成者如此之验。如妇人怀妊然。火力之 后，则其灵甚於我矣。岂非圣胎乎。所说婴儿能於中时时呼之，尤易灵也。出入聚散，变化有无，与道合真，能事毕矣。紫阳百世之下其独我乎得之，不传四海，其 孰乎。夫金丹之道在乎火药两传，乃能形神俱妙，性命两极者也。至如孰著之者，既非师傅，又非神授，白首无成，自取老死，惜哉。虽然，悟之必须修之。修之必 须证之，证之乃成之也。始於片饷工夫，终於一得永得。非思存，非漱咽，非呼吸，非勒缩，非存运，非按摩，非吐纳，非闭固，非持守，此盖自然之道也。汝其得 之矣，苟或不能践履所得，是与未悟者何异焉。大抵神仙之学，各有密行，非人所知。苟或耽迷酒色，倏然脱仙，或有资治生产，俄而冲举，顾所行何如耳。初不可 以其迹而圣凡之，盖其心中大有不然者，孰能测之哉。 先天一气论Life and nature are the foundation of the One Qi. The first chapter speaks of the nature of Heaven and Earth and the nature of physical endowment. In the human body, life and nature reside. Therefore, the root of nature and the stalk of life are divided into the Pre-Heaven and Post-Heaven. Nature is tied to the Gate of Life, residing in the heart; this is the Way of Nature, which is the Pre-Heaven. Life is tied to the kidneys, residing in the spleen; this is the Post-Heaven. The Gate of Life refers to the unborn child's fontanel before it closes, which is why it is connected. Thus, during the first, second, and third months of gestation, the soul and life's origin grow with the bright, immortal Qi, still upholding the Pre-Heaven. In the fourth month, the corporeal soul and life's origin bring forth the Qi of the netherworld, which is the Post-Heaven. A person's single Qi stems from the imprints of Heaven and Earth received before conception, when parents united. In the mother's womb, the child's umbilical cord is connected to the mother's navel; when the mother exhales, the child exhales, and when the mother inhales, the child inhales. At birth, the umbilical cord is cut, and each breathes independently. In the space of a single breath, it is tied to the root of nature and the belt of life at the ancestral place one inch and two fen; it is as hard as iron, yet as soft as silk. It faces the navel in front and the kidneys behind, surrounded by the six directions, with six orifices and two holes above and below corresponding to Heaven and Earth. Thus, Heaven and Earth give birth to the six children. With this single thought as the master of all dharmas, it is called the mother's imprint of the Pre-Heaven. Above, it connects to the Niwan; below, it penetrates the Yongquan. When scattered, it reaches all eighty-four thousand pores, muscles, and bones. Ah! People themselves cannot honor their origin, cherish their form, treasure their life, and love their spirit; they bring death and ruin upon themselves, separating from their true nature. The Dan Jing says: "Essence is born at its appointed time; when the time comes, the spirit arrives. Within the hundred marks, beware of confusion and unconsciousness." Once the mother Qi of Heaven and Earth is born, the Qi of the human body resonates with it by category, also arising from the Yongquan, ascending to the Dantian, silently transforming into Qi to accomplish the creation of the human body. Therefore, it is said: "The form is the house of spirit and Qi. The spirit is the master of the form and Qi. Without spirit, form and Qi are but a solid block; how can they be divine? Without form and Qi, the spirit has nowhere to return; where can it reside?" Life and nature—these two cannot be neglected. To cultivate nature without cultivating life is what Ziyang meant by "spirit belongs to Yin; the house is hard to secure, inevitably requiring methods of migration." To cultivate life without cultivating nature is what the Buddhist meant by "refining Qi and essence to live a thousand years, but without realizing true enlightenment and samadhi, when the karmic reward is exhausted, one returns and scatters into various realms." Thus, the early Confucians said: "To discuss nature without discussing Qi leaves Qi incomplete; to discuss Qi without discussing nature leaves nature unclear." Moreover, side sects and lesser scholars have not cultivated this discourse. Therefore, even if seals fill the boxes and titles fill the rows, they remain stuck on paper and pen, suffering over talismans and chapters, picking out stars and pacing the Big Dipper, visualizing left and right, encumbered by incantations, falsely relying on sounds, all at this time. They regard the Way of the natural single Qi as superficial, and consider the use of intricate details as profound. This has no affinity with the Dao; such blind study is nothing but a foolish scholar or commoner—how can they be held accountable for the Dao? Alas! With this single Qi, thunder, lightning, clear skies, and rain, the transformations of life and death are all driven by my single thought. To attain this is truly the fortune of a hundred generations. Anyone who treats this as ordinary text, carelessly leaks it, presumptuously shows it to the unworthy, reveals the secrets of Heaven, and does not honor themselves will not only fall into hell themselves, but the disaster will extend to their seven ancestors. Will those who suffer Heaven's punishment be merely empty words? The Qi of the Pre-Heaven's innate nature must be transmitted orally and received in the heart; do not neglect it. Pre-Heaven Qi Gathered as fetal breath, used as orifices, it is the most essential in Daoist methods. Those with deep destiny and past karma will still laugh foolishly upon obtaining it. Mental power calls out, silently roars, fire floats up, generals naturally assemble. I am endowed with the dual Qi of Yin and Yang; when it emerges, it shakes the heavens and the earth; when gathered back, mountains crumble; when scattered, evil spirits are crushed. The essence of the method lies not solely in talismans, nor is it bound by incantations. It is about merging my Qi with their Qi, merging my spirit with their spirit; this is what it means. The Dipper of Heaven is Heaven's, not my Dipper. The Dipper of Earth is Earth's, not my Dipper. However, the Gang is the killing force of the Dipper, located at its tail. The Dippers of Heaven and Earth rotate with the months, and so does the Gang. But where are my Dipper, my Gang, and my killing force? One must understand my Dipper, my Gang, and my killing force; they are all-effective and all-penetrating. Treatise on Essence and Fluid The kidneys are the origin of drawing, the foundation of generating metal, and the root of life and nature. They have an orifice connecting to the underside of the tongue, constantly producing divine water. The left is called Golden Essence, and the right is called Jade Fluid. If you can swallow and rinse it down into the Dantian, once the Dantian is full, it flows into the bone marrow; once the bone marrow is full, it flows into the blood; once the blood is full, it ascends to the Niwan and returns to the kidneys. Like the sun and moon circulating, it is called a single pearl. This is returning to the Dao, seeking the profound in the water palace. Six Affairs of the Thunder Palace Direct Talisman Using a talisman is not exactly appropriate, but not using one is also incorrect. A talisman serves as a token of trust, called "use," but the wondrous use of spiritual light is truly extraordinary. Master Xu Jing said: "People of the world mistakenly recognize ink and cinnabar; a single point of spiritual light is the true talisman. Do not ask if it is spiritual, do not ask if it is effective. Sweep the brush freely, without raising a single thought." True Incantation A thousand incantations are not as good as a single point of emptiness; dwelling in the wonder of no-thought within thought. Ascending the altar is called active use, and the incantation is known as the book of blessing the generals. The three generals are nothing but essence, Qi, and spirit; walking or sitting, they are very distinct. Try gently turning the handle of the Dipper, and wind and thunder will arise in an instant amidst laughter and conversation. The practice of stillness and concentration can summon thunder and rain while sitting, silently invoking the thunder gods. True Qi The ancestral Qi and the profound pass are the most spiritual; receiving the master's instruction is very clear. Jade is hidden within the stone, the body hides a treasure: original essence, original Qi, and original spirit. It is the Pre-Heaven single Qi and the indestructible original spirit, which is the envoy that mediates the Way of creation. True Gang People of the world do not recognize this true Gang; with firm will and focused spirit, it manifests swiftly. Driving gods and commanding ghosts is under its control; its wondrous use relies entirely on the Great Dharma King. True Formula The formula relies entirely on the Sword of Wisdom; severing the six thieves and slaying the three corpses, driving away evil thoughts to execute the talisman formula, practicing fiercely to align with the sage's mechanism. It all lies in unwavering will, courageous decisiveness, and letting go to practice. True Mechanism When employing the original spirit, how many truly know? Practicing personally and acting well, if one can penetrate the resonance within silence, transformation and spiritual communication happen in an instant. It all lies in the single word of circulating Qi; it is the trigger of the mechanism. Climate The three lights and cloud Qi merge with the true mechanism; you must understand that Yin and Yang have their rise and fall. Purple, white, black, and green are omens of rain; red and crimson mean wind and drought—do not act. Dui and Qian, the Dipper and lightning, thunder issues commands; the Rain Master hangs the list, following the sun. Green mountains, dew on grass, damp stone bases, body sweat, and a dazed spirit indicate a body like a fool. Sitting Practice and Internal Operation Enter the quiet room and sit cross-legged, without raising a single thought. After a short while, in the stillness, suddenly move and transform, visualizing yourself as the True King of Shenxiao. Once the visualization and transformation are set, calm your mind and quiet your breath. All karmic conditions become silent; the heart fire flares up, the kidney water surges, each following its nature. In this way, the Qi of the whole body becomes warm and pure, all gods lie in ambush, motionless. At this point, the Qi of the whole body has condensed and settled, then ascending and descending smoothly. Water and fire clash and shoot at each other, bursting forth with a loud sound, condensing into a mass of golden light that soars straight up. Then, using the word "Yue" (月), send it into the gallbladder palace. The tiger brings the golden light and single Qi forward; using the golden word "Yue" (月), head towards the Xun direction. Quickly use the sword formula to split the Xun direction, letting the golden light shoot open the gates of earth. In the crack, there is a god like a sudden fire surging out. Then, with the left hand forming the thunder seal, shine it, guiding it out from Xun through Qian. Control it with the seal, then inhale it into the gallbladder and bring it into the altar. Writing talismans and using them as you wish is nothing more than merging spirit with spirit, and Qi with Qi. Formula for Practice "Ya, He, Yi, Si," three code words, four imperial taboos, nine-character spiritual chapter; wind and rain will arrive immediately. If you have the destiny, you can save the world. Internal Secret Methods Steaming Mountains and Boiling Seas First exhale heart fire to boil kidney water; between seeming existence and non-existence, the abdomen becomes hot and agitated, which means the sea is already boiling. Next, inhale kidney water up to the crown to steam the mountain; in a moment, cold sweat appears on the forehead, which means the mountain is moving. Whipping the Dragon and Hanging the Dipper Every night when whipping the dragon, you must visualize a Dipper rotating at the sea gate of the North Sea, silently invoking the envoy. With a sound of thunder, send the envoy into the sea to whip the dragon. That is, your own kidney sea merges with the external North Sea. The profound mystery carries the great mechanism of creation. You must continue until the dragon's light and lightning move; if it does not move, whip it again as before. You must wait until the lightning flashes into the mouth of the Dipper in the sky; only then can you ascend the altar the next day, otherwise there will be no thunder. Ruler and Ministers in Court The ancestors are the ruler, and the five viscera are the ministers. The liver belongs to wood; circulating green Qi above the liver forms a thunder god. Wood generates fire; circulating red Qi above the heart forms a thunder god. Fire generates earth; circulating yellow Qi above the spleen forms a thunder god. Earth generates metal; circulating white Qi above the lungs forms a thunder god. Metal generates water; circulating black Qi above the kidneys forms a thunder god. The five thunders surround the Dantian. Visualize the envoy coming out of the Dantian through the profound orifice, leading the five thunders, fiercely and loudly, breaking through the crown and merging with the thunder gods in the sky. Mother and Child Intercourse Fire is the child of wood, belonging to the heart. Water is the mother of wood, belonging to the kidneys. Whenever practicing, you must first inhale kidney water, ascending to the Niwan, descending via the immortal bridge, and guiding the divine water of the flower pond to sprinkle down on the heart fire. Next, exhale the heart fire downwards, merging with the kidney water to enter the ancestral palace together, intertwining to form an infant, ascending to the imperial realm. All practices must involve this ascending and descending. The above practice is but a moment of trance; one cannot speak of it as deliberate action, nor be lost in visualization. Let the mind naturally dwell as breath comes and goes; forcing it makes it rushed, while letting it loose makes it fail. Practicing in this way, not a single failure will occur in ten thousand attempts. Prayer for Rain Formula MethodErect the altar and summon the generals to dispatch the edict, setting a deadline for a response on a specific day. When the deadline approaches, ascend the altar to summon thunder, burning talismans and edicts to urge them on. Next, enter the secret room, sit upright in the center, clench your fists tightly, calm your body and mind, regulate your breath and gather qi, restrain your thoughts and concentrate your spirit. Feel your body fill the universe; a warm qi rises from both kidneys. Earthly qi rises, heavenly qi descends, coiling and knotting like clouds and mist, blocking the universe. Wait until sweat appears on your body and saliva fills your mouth, then lift it with the "tiger" sound, make a "she" sound, recite "One Scale of Gold" as in the previous method, strike like thunder, mobilize lightning, and roar out with "Ma Ping Ma Ji". Visualize wind and clouds gathering joyfully, filling the six directions, with heavy thunder and rain. If the deadline has not arrived, or if there is no response at the deadline, you must do it again and not stop until there is a response. Wait for the wind to rise and clouds to gather, thunder to move and rain to fall, then slowly come out of meditation, enter the altar to summon, burn talismans and issue commands, practicing as you wish. As it is said: "Overturning the Dipper's handle, the sky turns pitch black; pouring down the Yellow River, the waters flow backward."

Great Creation Essential Secrets

Circulate the qi from the tail to the lower nine joints, rushing up nine paths of black qi, going up along the spine to the Niwan, coiling around eighty-one times, circulating until the crown of the head feels hot like fire. Draw it down to the Huachi (Flower Pool), and guide the fluid into the Xuan Guan (Mysterious Pass). Then hold the breath for a moment. Visualize the black qi wrapping a single point of true, bright essence; imagine your whole body is yin, filled with black qi. Then circulate the black qi to mix with the qi of the Five Elements, all becoming black clouds, with wind and thunder stirring inside. The five viscera are all filled with black qi, rushing up from the kidney palace to the heart palace, intersecting with the redness of the heart, like the sun and moon crossing and stimulating each other. Suddenly, it forms a black sphere that drops down, stirring up the seawater, with surging waves, thunder and lightning crashing together, startling a thousand dragons and ten thousand creatures in the sea. The righteous qi of the Five Elements transforms into five thunders, whipping and commanding all dragons in the sea, riding the black qi as clouds, ascending from the double gates to the Niwan palace and exiting. Visualize all thunder gods, dragons, and rain officials stirring, wind, thunder, and black qi forming clouds, filling heaven and earth, filling the six directions, thunder and lightning striking together, heavy rain pouring down. Then emit the ancestral qi and golden light, illuminating the Three Realms; within the light, there is faintly the Fire Master, with an angry face holding a sword, issuing commands and directing the thunder gods within the circular light, unleashing wind, spreading clouds, crashing thunder, and raining. The envoys take the lead, receiving the order to command all inner and outer officials of the Nine Palaces and Two Walls' thunder officials, pulling from all sides, black clouds dense, wind, clouds, thunder, and lightning, accompanying the main commander to spread clouds and rain. This method requires a calm mind and true application; feel your body become ice-cold, then yin rises and yang descends, black qi swirling, filling heaven and earth. Once this is done, step down from the seat, urge the master commanders, and stand by for a response.

Another Method

Of ten thousand methods and a thousand gates, their merit returns to one principle. To know the mechanisms of heaven and earth, one cannot depart from human action. Commanding wind and rain, slaying demons and monsters, there is no application without response; it is the divine general acting for me, and I acting as the divine general. Practice it for a lifetime, why seek elsewhere? As it is said: "When heaven unleashes the mechanism of killing, stars shift and constellations change; when earth unleashes the mechanism of killing, dragons and snakes rise from the land; when humans unleash the mechanism of killing, heaven and earth turn upside down." This is the essential way of thunder. If you do not turn yin and yang, rotate the pivot of heaven, and trace the mechanisms of earth, and do not know the essentials of the Xuan Guan, then what you circulate is not the root of practice. If it is light and empty, there will be wind but no rain; if it is hot but not dry, there will be rain but no wind; if qi surges and pants rapidly, there will be thunder; if the heart is startled and the ears ring, there will be thunderous strikes. All methods of moving thunder require the profound mysteries of the Dao: yin and yang generate each other, the Five Elements overcome each other to become thunder. Circulate to the central palace to gather at the exact moment, blending into one qi. Lift it with the "tiger" character, release it with the "force" character; the mouth is wind and rain, the ears are thunder, the nose is clouds, the eyes are lightning, crashing and striking into the talisman. The two characters "Ma Ping Ma Ji" make a sound entering the talisman, thunder shakes, wind and thunder crash. As for killing and striking, it commands the heavenly Dipper stars, circulates the killing qi within the body, calculates the earthly tigers, and shoots out the thunderous strikes. Ascending the altar, if there is no immediate response, just concentrate the spirit, recite "Ma Ping Ma Ji" surging to the tip of the tongue, chew it to pieces, spit it toward the empty Xun direction, and the five matters will arrive. Still, use golden writing and golden characters to strike toward the Xun direction, and the commands will correspond. This is extremely secret and profound, not to be passed on for ten thousand gold; those who obtain it should treasure it. Be sure to practice diligently in your spare time; with long practice, it will become pure and skilled, and you will naturally communicate with the gods. Once practiced, it will immediately manifest a response.

Gathering Wind and Clouds to Block Sunlight

Place a basin of cold water on the altar, dip a brush in thick ink into the water, first write the three taboos of the Sun, then write the taboo of the Moon to cover it. Then the Heavenly Dipper rushes through the flesh dipper. Command the thunder gods, mobilize the thunder officials, and the dragons and thunder of rivers, abysses, pools, caves, streams, and valleys, rushing through Qian, breaking Xun, ramming yang, stimulating yin, using them as you wish. Moreover, you must close your own sun and moon, circulate the water of the Flower Pool, and sprinkle it to extinguish the heart fire. Just calm your mind and settle your thoughts, and this method will respond.

Blocking the Sun

Write a talisman, burn it facing the sun, and spit it toward the Xun direction. Visualize three envoys standing within the sun, blocking Li to form Qian, spreading two wings to block the sun, filling heaven and earth.

Blocking the Moon

Write a talisman, burn it facing the moon, and spit it toward the Xun direction. Visualize three envoys standing within the moon, blocking Kan to form Qian, spreading two wings, with flying clouds and gathering mist.

Stopping the Wind

Write a talisman, burn it facing the direction from which the wind comes, and spit it away with water. Visualize these three envoys standing within the wind and thunder, blocking Xun to form Qian, cutting off the wind path, and quietly collect it with your thoughts.

Returning the Wind

Write a talisman; if the wind comes from the south, burn the talisman facing south, spit it away with water, and visualize the envoys standing in the south trigram, immediately blocking Xun to form Qian. Turn your body to the north, use your gaze to write the Kun character, rush and block the north, golden light shining brightly, shout loudly to the envoy Zhang Jue. The wind-returning envoy sees the character, and from south to north, the wind turns accordingly.

Moving Palm Thunder

Quietly regulate your breath until you cannot hear the sound of breathing. Let one breath go forward and backward, silently recite the Heavenly Mother's Heart Mantra once each, forcing the breath with a "she" sound. Recite "One Scale of Gold" nine times. Slap the left palm on the chest, lift it with the "tiger" character, extract the "force" character into the left palm, use the right hand's sword mudra to virtually write the "she" character, press and dispatch the envoy to see the character, with a "Ma Ping Ma Ji" sound, then recite: "Om Ma Cha Mang So Ha, command the envoy to quickly make a sound." Quickly rub the right palm with the right hand, recite the Thunder-Operating Mantra thirty-six times, slash the character into the Zhen palace, and take the golden qi to rush and stimulate. Also recite the forward and backward Heart Mantra twice each, "One Scale of Gold" fifteen times, lift the "tiger" character, extract the "word" character into the palm, virtually write the "eat yellow" character, press and dispatch the envoy to see the character, with a "Ma Ping Ma Ji" sound, then recite: "By the command of the Great Emperor of the Thunder Ancestor, envoy, quickly make a sound. If you do not make a sound, I will curse your ancestors." Silently recite: "Zhuanxu Changyi, Ji Ji Qi Qi," bestow the following character orally.

Red Crow Mantra

Red crow, red crow, chariot of wind and fire. Ghost crow in the thunder, Yaksha beyond the clouds, receiving orders to rush, endowed with the nature of red clouds. I now summon you, calling the wind, Ya Cha. Ya ya ya ya, xia xia xia xia. Jia jia jia jia. Respond quickly, just as Zi Hua commands.

Command of the Fire Master, True Lord Wang

Use the heavenly eye, tongue tip, and sword mudra to virtually write this character and perform the ritual, then use the Thunder Mother and Thunder Duke, next rub the right palm rapidly against the left palm, recite the Thunder-Operating Mantra eighty-one times with angry qi, and slash the character into the Zhen palace. Then combine the qi of the liver and lungs to release it, with great anger and great shaking, nothing will not be shaken and subdued. At this point, you must quickly use the four secret taboo characters to illuminate it; otherwise, the people on the altar will not dare to stand. This method is extremely secret and profound, rare in the world. If the mind had not obtained the transmission of the immortal mysteries from Jin Gong, it would surely have been cut off later; how could it have reached this point? However, when Jin Gong arrived at his metaphorical time, he used the blue sky, wind, clouds, palm thunder, and rain as a ceremony of meeting, and from then on widely transmitted it to his disciples. Yet people only obtained the method of a thousand copper coins; this secret had not been given to others, only sharing the same qi with my master, the Elder Wuwei. Therefore, he lingered in the mountains, and over time I completely obtained his untransmitted secrets. Today, by heavenly fate and karma, I have received them secretly, and I swear again and again, hoping you will not leak them lightly. Now I fear that over time they will be forgotten, and I worry that future learners will have no transmission, so I have written them down. I have recorded the orally transmitted and mentally inherited mysteries, appended to the end of the inner secrets, to teach disciples and continue the lost lineage. You should treasure and inherit it, and do not view it as an ordinary method. Keep it secret, keep it secret. If you leak it lightly or disrespectfully, you will not only fall into hell yourself, but disaster will reach your seven ancestors, and heaven's punishment will be inevitable. With reverence, the Heavenly mirror is without deviation, its spirit pure; the Emperor's presence is singular, cautious and devout by night. Kneading earth with a devoted heart, parting the clouds, I bow my head. I, the officiant, your humble servant, in sincere trepidation, bow my head and prostrate in reverence. Transcending beyond the Innate One Qi, yet not leaving the shared ground of the three altars. Shifting with the world, know my gratitude. First, settle the precious seat; next, offer incense and tea.

Respectfully, the Innate Limitless Dharma-Presiding High True Ones, the Supreme Emperor at that time, unleashed the profound mechanism of Innate Limitlessness, blessing the people below; offering the black millet of the earth's eternal spring to bring great fortune. Sincerely holding to the center, with boundless reverence. Opening the vessel for the first offering. Respectfully, the Innate Dao-opening Great Masters, I humbly hear that the pure become sages, the turbid become worthies, offering the fine brew to sacrifice to heaven; where the Master resides, the Dao is guarded, thus receiving the special grace of saving beings. The ritual is clear, reverently honoring their virtue. Briefly detaining the Masters' chariot, the second offering is presented with bows.

Respectfully, the Rain Altar is to invoke all spirits. I humbly hear that three cups connect to the Great Dao, holding the pivot of saving the world; one qi turns the great cosmos, joining the heaven-turning creation. The heart loves, and the spirits enjoy it. With boundless reverence, the final offering is poured and presented. Humbly, looking up to the vastness of great virtue, the Dao is high; spreading the carefulness of a small mind, Heaven will surely witness it. I express my sincere heart, appealing to the profound creation. I, your servant, now receive a petition from [Name] of [Place], humbly stating that in this region since a certain month, the rains have been delayed, the scorching sun wreaks havoc, the fields are dry, and the crops are withered. The people are anxious and have nowhere to appeal. They petition me to perform the rites and pray for rain. I could not refuse the petition, as the Dharma is meant to save people. Carefully selecting an auspicious time, strictly following the Master's model, I dispatch the written talismans, requesting the descent of heavenly grace, choosing a site to build the altar, and summoning thunder to bring rain. Now, ascending the altar, I proclaim and dispatch the talismanic decrees. Entrusting the Innate One Qi Five Thunder Flying Swift Reporting Envoy Zhang Jue, Vice-Commanders Zhang Yun and Zhang Ya, the Five Directions Thunder Gods, and all affiliated officials and generals, to receive and transmit the orders, implementing them accordingly. Not daring to act presumptuously, I first offer reverence. Reflecting again that I, your servant, dwell in the five turbidities, separated from the Dao by two dusts, being a man of lesser learning, I have not fully grasped the Innate principles. I thus present my sincere pleas, relying entirely on your guidance. May you pity the living beings of this lower realm, and condescend to send down the wise decrees of Heaven. Jade sounds capturing the qi, allowing this mortal body to unite with the Dao. The True King's words are thus, decreeing the thunder gods to fulfill human desires. Bestow vast salvation, and immediately grant a responsive connection. I, your servant, am boundlessly reverent in begging for grace and making this plea. Respectfully, I submit this for your hearing.

The Master transforms his spirit and steps the Dipper, the congregation <recite> the Golden Light Mantra. The Dharma Master summons the generals according to the rites, along with the City God, Earth God, and other spirits.

The altar's command is issued, swift as wind and thunder, the marshals and generals manifest their efficacy, gathering like clouds and mist. Clear wine is presented before you; I humbly hope you will partake. Respectfully, the Innate One Qi Flying Swift Envoy, the Five Directions Thunder Ministries' majestic gods, the Primordial Ancestral Kalpa, the Supreme Ultimate Innate divided from the One Qi, commanding all spirits. Residing in the position of the Nine Heavens assisting the profound, ranked in the Divine Firmament; specializing in the name of the Five Thunders' Flying Swiftness, named in the Yang Valley. Commanding the Jade Purity's transforming qi, truly a Golden Tower True Immortal. One body, three forms, a thousand transformations. Riding the void and controlling the qi, imagine the majesty of the Thunder Ministry. Pouring water and offering flowers, following the rules of the immortal scriptures. I present clear wine to briefly send off the imperial splendor, bowing my head in sincerity, opening the vessel for the first offering.

Universal Transformation by Thunder Sound, the Dao Qi endures forever. Transforming in the ten directions, like the water of the Milky Way; throwing fire ten thousand miles, shining like the light of a golden axe. Circulating the One Qi in the innate realm, saving all beings on the great earth. Manifesting the Dharma, howling commands to wind and thunder. For rain and shine, thoughts are connected; for evil spirits, hearing the name annihilates them. Flying swiftly, with profound vows. Considering I lack the fragrance of bright virtue, I rely on the gods to accept my sincere offering. Wishing to break through all endeavors, one must finish another cup. Looking up to your majestic presence, the second offering is performed. The Great Dao is nameless, generating heaven and earth, moving the sun and moon; the Heavenly Origin provides the beginning, moistening with wind and rain, drumming with thunder. Looking at the majestic god of the One Qi, leading the commander-in-chief of the Nine Heavens, riding a wooden wild dog, soaring on fire clouds to summon the thunder gods; uniting with the golden crow, crossing the water boundary to whip and drive dragon demons. Positioned in the center and above, duty-bound to the Western Tower. Only with the sage's talismanic efficacy, imagining the mind's connection and the Dharma's pervasion. Three cups connect to the Great Dao, hoping for a special reflection of my sincere heart; one qi turns the great cosmos, trusting in the turning of creation. Not ashamed of repeating the offense, fully relying on the spirit of the Six-One. With boundless reverence, the wine is offered for the third time.

Respectfully, the Commander Innate Three Five Fire Cart Marshal Wang, fierce officer of the Divine Firmament, mighty soldier of the Jade Mansion, holding a golden whip in hand, receiving orders from the Three Pure Ones. Subduing demons and evil, a dragon rope tied at the waist. Proclaiming majesty in the nine lands to save the people, green boots and wind belt protecting the body. Eyes of fire shining upon heaven and earth, a red robe covering the body; piercing mountains and breaking rocks to capture evil spirits, hair standing on end in rage. Walking fire and riding wind to support the Daoist Dharma. Commanding a million fierce divine generals, titled Three Five Fire Cart Thunder Duke. Willing to support the Dharma to save all beings, hoping to make the vow heard by the Emperor. Gathering plagues and capturing poison, raising the dead and reviving life. Torturing ghosts and capturing the deceased, the great demons of the three realms all bow; destroying altars and demolishing temples, all external paths of the ten directions submit. With boundless reverence, the fourth offering is performed.

With deep reverence to the commanders and generals of all departments, the officers and soldiers of all divisions: your merits are recorded in the Imperial Court, and your ranks are promoted to commanderies. Your heroic and loyal spirit remains awe-inspiring; your majestic and fierce presence is vividly here. Your spirits soar to the heavens, your hearts are set on the common people. Your swords are as stern as autumn frost, your bows are drawn under the night moon. Some ride dragons and tigers, some whistle to the wind and whip the thunder. Your fame surpasses the Two Academies and Three Departments, your might awes the Five Sacred Mountains and Four Great Rivers. You bind the Six Heavens and Nine Uglinesses, and behead the demons of the Ten Caverns. You bestow rain and roll the clouds, fly the wind and strike with thunder. Assisting Heaven and Earth in nurturing all things, you join the rain and dew in fostering life. By imperial command, you assist my altar; solemnize the heavenly majesty and fulfill your duties. Promulgate the dispatch document. The talismans and dispatches to be executed have been announced and distributed. The paper money for the retinue is offered and burned along with the dispatches. The True Mantra for Burning Offerings is now reverently recited. All things are endowed with the One Qi, divine transformations are boundless. Mantras transform into wealth, shining like starlight. In the immortal's cavern heavens, may this eternally serve as an auspicious sign. I humbly request the Swift Flying Envoy of the One Qi, and the majestic deities of the Thunder Department of the Five Directions, to receive these mortal offerings and ascend to the clouds. With roaring thunder and flashing lightning, display your majestic presence across ten thousand miles; holding the tally and bearing the talisman, transmit the command with a single voice. Proclaim to the Three Realms, circulate the Ten Directions, universally bestow the benevolence of salvation, and stand by for the response of spiritual resonance. I, holding the authority of the Primordial Command, preside over the affairs of praying for rain and sunshine. Turning the locks and opening the keys, I bring salvation to all things and benefit the people. Commanders and generals, swiftly prepare your cloud chariots, ready your weapons, deploy the formation of cloud, thunder, and fire chariots, and set in motion the chariots of wind, cloud, lightning, and hail. In an instant, you reach the Three Heavens; in a flash, you traverse the Nine Earths. Subdue the demon kings in the blink of an eye, and drive away the drought demons in a moment. Bringing rain to save the people is the inherent duty of the Thunder Ministry. Executing commands upon receipt is the standard protocol of you commanders and generals. Reverently obey my commands, and do not willfully disobey. Om hum hum. Heavenly Thunder God, Earthly Thunder God, Yin thunder rumbles, Yang thunder roars. By my command, swiftly set forth. Swiftly, swiftly, in accordance with the statutes and ordinances. Next, perform the dispatching Big Dipper steps. Upon completing the Big Dipper steps, spit water, push out with both hands forming the thunder seal, and circulate the ancestral Qi to manifest it as black clouds. Visualize the envoys and thunder gods roaring with thunder and flashing lightning, riding the wind and clouds, spreading rain throughout the sky, and soaring away. Next, recite: Om ma li <zha> svaha. The envoy receives the decree of the Heavenly Mother; go swiftly and return swiftly, clearly manifesting retribution. Fast. Give a single command, and from this point onward, employ the Nine Palaces to obtain the response. Nine Palaces Application Once the response is obtained on the right, bow again, burn incense, and offer thanks. I, your minister, have requested the bestowal of gracious decrees, the promulgation of talismans and documents, the commanding of the thunder gods, and the praying for rain. Fortunately, the ritual is successfully completed, and I look up to you as the main sponsors. I now express my heartfelt thanks and await your spiritual response. I humbly wish that your imperial virtue be born, acting as our lord and teacher. Look down and forgive the sin of my presumption, and immediately bestow the grace of spiritual resonance. May the clouds roll and the rain fall, nourishing all things to prosperity; may the generals be holy and the talismans divine, ensuring that our meritorious deeds are accomplished. Gazing at the Brahma Qi, it neither comes nor goes; relying on the sages, there is a beginning and an end. I shall exclusively await the completion of your majestic work, and then offer my respectful farewell. The ritual master retreats from the altar and restores the deities according to the dharma. Break the earth to summon thunder, punishing and eradicating disasters. Five Thunder Envoys, swiftly descend to the altar. Follow my mantra and command, dispatching all inauspiciousness. Open the five departments, greatly bestow majestic light. Infuse my spirit and form, as decreed by the Most High. Evil spirits are completely destroyed, the ghostly path perishes. Swiftly, swiftly, in accordance with the statutes and ordinances. Great God of the Ordinances, Venerable of Wind and Fire. With giant wings on both shoulders, you fly and roam the universe. You behead demons and swallow evils, bind ghosts and capture souls. You bring rain in an instant, and clear the sky in a moment. Following the mantra and the summoning, you descend at the Xun Gate. Swiftly, swiftly, in accordance with the statutes and ordinances. Upon finishing the mantra, visualize the Huohuo Commander leading Commander Xin and Commander Zhang, the Thunder Duke and Lightning Mother, the Wind Earl and Rain Master, the Savage Thunder of the Five Directions, the generals and officers of the Xun Gate, and the Thunder Gods of the Eight Trigrams, riding the true Qi of blue, red, and yellow fiery lightning, descending from the Xun direction. Inhale and distribute it within the altar. Next, pray: I look up to you, commanders, generals, and thunder gods, to attend the altar, respond to my ritual practices, establish teachings by my side, and manifest the true through Qi. Swiftly, swiftly, in accordance with the statutes and ordinances. Next, visualize yourself standing within the Three Qi in front. Green water's autumn waves are deep and clear. Step the Nine Palaces Dipper, reciting: Tread Tianying, cross Tianren, lean on Tianzhu, embrace Tianxin, pass Tianqin, lean on Tianfu, gaze at Tianchong, enter Tiannei, exit Tianpeng. Then sit in the lotus position on the ground, upon the Tianpeng star of the Nine Heavens. Clench both hands into fists, use the two thumbs to pinch the Hai pattern, look upward with the eyes, and inhale the upper kidney Qi through the nose and mouth into the heart to merge. Look up and hold the breath; this will naturally draw the kidney Qi upward to merge with the heart. Then, as the floral pool at the base of the tongue naturally produces saliva, use it to rinse the mouth thirty-six times, constantly visualizing the divine water as clear and pure. A thousand-pound sword blade feels light on the back. Clench both hands firmly and press them on the knees, making them as solid as a thousand pounds. Visualize all the meridians opening up, then sway the lower back two or three times, drawing the divine water to move like a pulley up the spine to the Niwan (upper dantian); this is called transporting it into the crown. Willows by the river blown down by the wind. Lower the head and shake the neck several times. Next, visualize the Tianzhu (pillar of heaven), pouring the water of the Heavenly Pool down from the Niwan, into the throat, down the twelve-story pagoda, and into the three gates (the Three Fields). This is the Tianzhu Willow Star, located at the Heavenly Pool, at the edge of the crown. Lowering the head and shaking the crown, blowing as if it were a willow tree by the river, blown down by the wind. Holding Chang'e without a start. Cross both hands and hold them firmly below the navel. Visualize the divine water pouring into the five viscera, preventing it from leaking downward. Also visualize the fairy maiden in the heart, which is the true water of the heart; since both hands are holding it firmly, it means "holding without a start." White as the snow in the sky. Rotate both hands through the twelve mudras to form the thunder seal. Lord Xin: Chou. Thunder Duke: Yin. Lightning Mother: Shen. Wind Earl: Si. Rain Master: Hai. Eastern Savage Thunder Ma: Mao. Southern Savage Thunder Guo: Wu. Western Savage Thunder Fang: You. Northern Savage Thunder Deng: Zi. Central Savage Thunder Tian: Center. Envoy Zhang: Hai. Huohuo: Center. Then contract it back to Hai Earth to form the seal. Exhale Qi from the mouth to form wind, and blow Qi to form clouds, still visualizing the exhaled wind and clouds moving from Kan to Dui, Xun, and Zhen, mixing with the wind and clouds in the sky. The thunder soldiers are in Dui, belonging to the West and White, hence the saying. Red as the blood of a gorilla. With both hands forming the thunder seal, visualize the tongue as the thunder axe, the gallbladder as the thunderbolt, the heart as Commander Deng, the gallbladder as Commander Xin, the kidneys as Commander Zhang, and the five viscera as the Five Thunders. Then visualize Commander Deng riding red Qi down to the kidney palace; this is called Yang Qi descending. Commander Zhang rides black Qi up to the heart palace; this is called Yin Qi ascending. Ascending and descending three times in this way, Yin and Yang strike each other to form thunder, which then enters the spleen. Hold the breath and look up at the crown; this will naturally draw the kidney Qi up to the heart. Hold the breath and close the eyes; you will naturally feel the heart Qi descend to the kidneys. Next, visualize the Savage Thunder of the Five Directions each riding the Qi of the five viscera, all entering the spleen. The Great Thunderbolt God and the Envoy ride the gallbladder Qi and also enter the spleen, condensing like an orange, spinning ceaselessly. Spinning down to the lower dantian is called mixing the three palaces. Spinning back up to the middle dantian is called regulating the five Qi in the center. The five Qi spin and rush up to the Niwan; this is called mixing the hundred spirits. Then, take the thunder seal and cover both kidney halls, moving up along both ribs to both ears, using the seal to cover the ears. Make the Qi in the ears produce sound as thunder, flash the eyes three times as lightning, and click the teeth once as a thunderbolt. If there is no application, just contract from Hai to Si, no need to clap and disperse. If there is an application, use the seal to clap and disperse at the chest, visualizing the three commanders, the Five Thunder Great Thunderbolt Gods, the Xun Gate generals and officers, and the Eight Trigrams Thunder Gods, rushing out from the crown. Thunder, lightning, thunderbolts, wind, and fire clash together, mixing as one with the summoned heavenly thunder. Light as dust in the air. Visualize the thunder spirits within the body having exited; then the body becomes light. Pinch the middle section of the middle finger with both hands, gathering the spleen palace to guard the spirit's residence, not just the heart. Heavy as a thousand pounds of iron. Visualize the exited thunder spirits having mixed with the summoned heavenly thunder spirits, each having received the true Qi of the thunder. Both hands then take the thunder seal, gathering the exited thunder spirits, returning them from the crown to re-occupy the thunder hall; then the whole body becomes heavy and solid, like a thousand pounds. Weaver Girl's Fourth Brother. This is the Girl Earth Bat among the Twenty-Eight Mansions, which is Commander Deng. Gou Lou Ji Li Deng Seng De Se. These eight characters are the names of the Eight Trigrams Thunder. Visualize Huohuo leading the Eight Trigrams Thunder Gods standing guard on the left and right of the body, extending from the hands and feet to the eight pillar bones. Visualize the emitted thunder deities merging, and perform the ritual at will. If there is no function to perform, but only refining the generals, then station them within the Thunder Hall, and only dispatch them when there is a task, still without holding the token to ascend the altar and the like. White thunder and red qi, Yun Feng Ju Na, heart qi enters the lungs, fire overcomes metal. Descending to the Dark Feng. Black thunder and yellow qi, She Su Lu Na, spleen qi enters the kidneys, earth overcomes water. Supreme Pole primal surge. Yellow thunder and green qi, Tan Jia Qing Na, liver qi enters the liver, wood overcomes earth. Filling the entire void. Universal fire realm, blazing majestic wind. Annotations to the Wood Lad Incantation by White Toad Qian's crystal radiant shine east of the Jade Pool Qian is the Hai direction, the northwest land, which is the Heavenly Gate. The crystal within Heaven is the realm of Qionghua radiant shine, above the Brahma qi, within the Jade Talisman, there is the eastern boundary of the Jade Pool, which is the city of the Hollow Cavity, and it is the dwelling place of the thunder deities. Alliance Power Holy One commands the Green Lad In the Nine Heavens there is the Limitless Alliance Power Perfected One, who is the Holy One. The Perfected One issues the command, summoning the Eastern Barbarian Thunder General whose surname is Zhu and name is Qingtong. Hurling fire ten thousand miles to the Kan and Zhen palaces Hurling fire ten thousand miles is the majesty of the thunder deity. Flowing bells striking in eight directions is the authority of the Lightning Mother. From Kan to Zhen is from north to east. The earth is generated from the northeast, therefore the northeast is the palace of the thunder deity. Thus the Book of Changes says: Thunder within the earth is returning. Rain cavalry swiftly arrives from the Great Meng Thunder chariots and rain cavalry, wind-driven carriages and cloud canopies, are all the retinues of the thunder deities. Fiercely and swiftly they come from mid-air, hence it is said they arrive from the Great Meng. Wood Lad Taiyi, hero of the Three Mountains In the Azure Jade Mansion of Taiyi, the Wood Lad Haoling Divine Lord resides on the left, in charge of praying for rain; the Ruihua Dongling Divine Lord resides on the right, in charge of praying for snow. The left palace has three mountains, and the right palace has four ramparts. The Wood Lad is the heroic deity of the three mountains on the left and right of the Taiyi Mansion. Thunderbolts break stones and connect springs The thunder deity uses a thunder hammer and thunder axe to break stones, connecting the dried-up spring sources. Kun, Zhen, Xun, and earth, the Haoling Old Man Kun belongs to the west, Zhen belongs to the east, and Xun-Si belongs to the southeast. Using the metal of the west to overcome the wood of the east, using the wood of the east to generate the fire of the south, using the fire of the south to generate the earth of the central palace. Earth can overcome water. The Water Master is the Haoling Old Man. The Xu Huo Divine Lord resides in the west, the Xin Lord resides in the east, and the Shaoyang Thunder Duke is in the south. The Five Directions Barbarian Thunder gathers in the central palace of the Jade Pivot Mansion. The Jade Pivot is the Pivot of the Dipper. Within the Dipper is the Capital Water Envoy, who is the Haoling Old Man. Therefore, it is stimulated thusly. Fierce horses spread in four directions, Xu Huo charges The thunder deities ride fierce horses in the four directions, and the Xu Huo in the central palace flies down through the air. This is the language within the thunder incantation. Flowing essence and dense light dash to Zhurong The water deity is named Xuanming, courtesy name Liujing. The rain deity is named Manghuang, courtesy name Yuguang. The fire deity is named Huilu, courtesy name Zhurong. Using the water deity and rain deity to drive the fire deity. Giant deity Taihua ascends into the clouds Taihua is the High Minister of the Eastern Peak, and the Giant Deity is the White Tiger Divine Lord of the Western Peak. They gallop amidst the clouds. Black banners and dark standards fly in the void Black banners and dark standards, looking like dark clouds, fly in the void, pouring down heavy rain. Covering the sun, steaming rain, gathering clouds thick Gathering thick clouds, concealing the scorching sun, brewing overcast rain. E Bo shakes the Kunlun peak The Southern Yinghuo Star Lord has the E Bo Divine Lord beneath him. Shaking the peak of Mount Kunlun connects to the Heavenly River. This means the fire deity moves mountains and tilts the Heavenly River. Ghost Spirit overturns the sea, Xuanming joins The water deity is named Xuanming, the wave deity is named Fanhai, and the river deity is named Ghost Spirit. This means the wave deity exerts force, along with the river deity, and the water deity joins forces to make it rain. Feng Yi beats the drums and breathes long winds The Six Waves Heavenly Lord Emperor is Feng Yi. He beats the drums and breathes long to raise wind and rain. Penglai and Ruoshui raise the Capital Merit Penglai has the Capital Water Envoy, and Ruoshui has the Capital Merit Envoy. Dragon eagles swiftly ward off evil first The Thunder Mansion has fire dragon chariots and fire eagle cavalry, which first ward off evil disasters. Red hair, giant wings, double-pupiled eyes The Xu Huo Statute Deng Tianjun has red hair, flesh wings on both sides, and double pupils in both eyes. Thunder and lightning spit poison to expel the five dragons The Thunder Duke and Lightning Mother spit poisonous qi of majesty to drive away the dragons of the five seas. Four seas are cloudy and dark, arrayed with a gloomy countenance The four seas are dim and gloomy, densely arrayed in dark colors. With one sound, the four seas change to dim obscurity With one sound of thunderbolt, within the four seas the scorching heat changes to dim obscurity. Where the rain array arrives, rivers flow with floods The rain array is like cavalry, flying through the air and arriving, causing rivers to flood. Golden light and flowing essence slay the drought rainbow Golden light and flowing essence are the southwest thunder deity, with a human head and divine body, wielding a fire sword to slay the rainbow. Dongyang Ghost Spirit summons Zhenzong Dongyang Ghost Spirit is the northeast thunder deity, with a human head and fish body, summoning the deity Zhenzong. Jade Thunder Haoshi transforms Kongtong Jade Thunder Haoshi is the southeast thunder deity, with a human head and turtle body, transforming into a dark gloomy color, filling the Kongtong city of the Thunder Mansion. Xu Huang Taihua sweeps away demon insects Xu Huang Taihua is the northwest thunder deity, with a human head and snake body, sweeping away the demon insects that cause drought. Qunliang Xuanhuang is hailed as the vanguard Qunliang Xuanhuang is the wind deity. The wind's momentum is hailed as the vanguard of the thunder array. Ci Quan Zi Shen awes the Heavenly Duke Ci means to pray. Quan means the dragon pool. Zi means to unleash. Shen means the flood dragon. Awing the Heavenly Duke means executing the majesty of the Heavenly Duke. Xu Huo Statute overturns the vault Xu Huo Marshal Deng flies and charges beyond the vaulted void. Whipping and striking demons, driving away snakes and insects Hanba, the early demon, is the ghostly spirit of drought. Strange snakes and bizarre insects are the weary and hidden dragons. Gou Lou Ji Li, blazing and majestic traces The words Gou Lou and Ji Li, in the Thunder Mansion, are the characters of the fire dragon. It speaks of the blazing and majestic traces of the fire dragon. This matter is seen in the Fangzhang Wang Shichen Ziwei Thunder Book. Deng Seng Ze Yi all obey and listen The words Deng Seng Ze Yi, in the Thunder Mansion, are the characters of the fire chariot. It means the Fire Chariot Marshal obeys the commands of the Five Thunders. This matter is seen in the Fangzhang Shichen Thunder Book. Zhi Nv Si Ge, heart is loyal and public-spirited The words Zhi Nv Si Ge, in the Thunder Mansion, are the Great Immortal of Thunderbolts. His heart is loyal and public-spirited, praying for rain for the people. Assist me in saving the drought, great and eminent merit The deities of thunder, lightning, wind, and rain assist me in saving the drought. According to the Book of Methods: Saving the drought once, merit rises by one rank. It is equivalent to saving one hundred and twenty people. In a great drought lasting over two ten-day periods, merit rises by three ranks.
