The heavenly trigram east of the river can be sought in the palm of the hand; once known, it is worth a thousand gold.

all around are fugitive dens — after burial, people are cut off.

If the secret mechanism is installed inside, the household will prosper with wealth and rank;
if the secret mechanism is installed outside, the household gradually declines and fails.
The five phases matched produce the names of the nine stars — roam freely under heaven.
The stem branches Qian, Gen, Xun, Kun, Ren — yang, the starry hosts revolve forward.
The branch spirits Kan, Zhen, Li, Dui, Gui — yin trigrams, taken in reverse.
Divide and fix yin and yang into two roads, ranked forward and reverse;
know life and death, also know poverty — preserve this to teach your children and grandchildren.
Heaven and earth parents, three kinds of trigrams — ordinary masters have never spoken of them.

Qian mountain, Qian facing, water flowing toward Qian — Qian's peak produces the top scholar;
Mao mountain, Mao facing, source water of Mao — sudden wealth rivalling Shi Chong;
Wu mountain, Wu facing, Wu arriving at the hall — a great general guards the frontier;
Kun mountain, Kun facing, water flowing in Kun — wealth and rank without end.
If you discern the two roads of yin and yang traveling, the five phases must be clear —
like a mixed loach leaping the dragon gate in the waves, it turns over in the Bohai Sea.
Following the four spirits is foremost — official posts never rest.
At the den you must know the eight trigrams; within the den the trigrams are installed clearly.
If you seek wealth and rank, the three kinds of trigrams; leaving the trigram, the family is poor and destitute.
Water from Yin, Shen, Si, Hai comes long — the five phases hide within the facing.
Knock on the golden dragon at Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei — stir it and you will never be poor.
If you borrow the storehouse, wealth then poverty; with your own storehouse, joy endures in eternal spring.
From where does the Great Star arise? The five phases' life and growth prosper.
