Commonly Used Talisman No. 3: Talisman to Ward Off the Lonely Sun and Widowed Star -- Star-Warding Talisman

 If one's fate is afflicted by the Lonely Sun and Widowed Star, ancient texts state that one who is old without a husband is called 'widowed', and one who is young without a father is called 'orphan'. In modern times, this mostly relates to marriage and relationship issues. Seeing it in the Four Pillles often indicates difficulty in forming marriages, and for those already married, it often signifies divorce. If it relates to parents, one may find it difficult to stay by their parents' side for long, or may have been far from them since childhood. The same applies to other six relatives.

 For those born in the years of Hai, Zi, or Chou, Yin is considered 'Lonely' and Xu is considered 'Widowed'; for those born in Yin, Mao, or Chen, Si is 'Lonely' and Chou is 'Widowed'; for those born in Si, Wu, or Wei, Shen is 'Lonely' and Chen is 'Widowed'; for those born in Shen, You, or Xu, Hai is 'Lonely' and Wei is 'Widowed'.

 For those living with their parents, calculate based on the year branch; for those living on their own, calculate based on the day branch.

 The Lonely Sun and Widowed Star are stars in the heavens, so a Star-Warding Talisman is used to ward them off.

 According to the Star-Warding method, the two malefic deities of Lonely and Widowed are severed.

   Mantra: Open the Heavenly Gate, close the Earthly Door, keep open the Human Gate, block the Ghost Path, pierce the Ghost Heart, break the Ghost Belly, Azure Dragon on the left, White Tiger on the right, Vermilion Bird in front, Black Tortoise behind, acting under orders, who dares to obstruct.

   Drawing Method: First write a 'Zhi' character, then draw a left stroke downwards on the left, write two characters in the middle, then write a 'Hu' (Tiger) character in cursive below. Draw a vertical line downwards in a clockwise circle, then turn left and draw a counter-clockwise circle. From the right, draw three counter-clockwise circles from the middle, then flick upwards to complete.
